The more I study this period, the more I realize the great depth of information available. Every person has his/her own story. Every event has different points of view. I constantly search for more information. It has become my passion.
As part of my search, I found Rebecca Cantrell’s Hannah Vogel series. What a wonderful discovery! Rebecca uses information found in biographies, newspaper and magazine articles to give information that is entirely accurate. These elements coupled with stories of the German people surviving an oppressive system, create a full and haunting depiction of “normal” life in 1930's Germany.
