Welcome to Shalom European Travel's new blog! My name is Brad Charon and I am a Field Coordinator and Guide for the company. I'm sure you're saying to yourself, "I know what a Guide is, but what in the world is a Field Coordinator?" I'll explain by telling you what I do. Let's suppose that you have a particular cruise that you wish to take. You want to see some Jewish heritage sites during the cruise rather than the land excursions already planned. I travel to destinations that you wish to visit and scout excursions, points of interest, basically anything that you might be interested in seeing. Next, I create a list of information regarding prices and offerings and send the information to Kathleen, the owner and main agent for Shalom European Travel (SET). She presents the options to you. If you like one or all of them, she sets everything up for you. Now you have your own private tour(s). We do the same thing for land trips as well, that is, non-cruise travel. In the following weeks, I will use the blog to give you information regarding sites, tours, museums, memorials, and more. Whether you are Jewish or simply have an interest in Jewish history, Europe has so much to offer and we are excited to share it with you!

PS Many of you have asked for the full story of how the Steve Berry & Fans Cruise came about. That will be the post for next week! 'Til then: Happy Travels!
